If the asking..is the most serious part of the deed, then what is the most non~serious part of it? I dare not speculate cos as we know, speculation can be damn tricky business . Hey!, I did that once. Do you not find, that one question answered always leads to yet another question?...I find that it usually does! And in that case, just suppose that we got all of the answers to all of our questions all of the time...would that be dull? And wouldn't the answers become an opiate?...Geeze Louise At the very least I think it would tend to make us essentially very lazy people. I mean think about it will you? A point to ponder (borrowed from the Cabo San Lucas Gringo Gazette)...Would a fly without wings be called a "walk?"...LOL Sometimes I think there is only one question to ask anyways (Not!)...But which question is the most important? What if you could only ask one? Would it be "Where"..like.. "Where are you?"...or "When"...as in "When will you be back?"...or "Why"..as in "Why did you go in the first place?"...or maybe even "Who"...as in "Who do you think you're fooling?...or possibly even "What"..as in "What lies beneath this humble exterior?...(oh boy, did I just say humble?..geeze:)...or how about..."How"..like.."How did I get here?"...NO!!!! REALLY!.."How did I?"...These my friends are "real" questions, that may or may not require real answers...LOL...and if truly asked, may leave the mind a~rumbling for quantum research/analysis but hell, I think this could tire me out pretty quickly so I'm just going to skip it...for now! Hey! Need a nap?...Yes?...I know I do!...Okay! Let's go!!! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....
There are no great answers in life anyways, only great questions... the answers are always subject to change depending upon the circumstances that life brings to you at the time the question is being asked...am I wrong?...The same question asked 5 years later(or earlier for that matter) will not bring the same answer as the present moment so why bother asking? This much I know to be true...there are always variables such as location, location, location and then throw in a little mix of age, experience and wisdom and or superstitous beliefs...and then Boom!...there you go again...confusing isnt it? Ever heard anyone say "ooohh that's a great answer?"..not very often huh? That's because most people say "oohh thats a great question!"..(thanks ever so much for asking)...and then it's usually followed by the proverbial ramble...(insert subjective point of view here)...LOL Hey, if a turtle loses its shell is it naked..or homeless? Why dont sheep shrink when it rains? Is it unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice!" If a parsley farmer is sued can they garnish his wages? Why do they put Braille on drive through bank machines?...Yikes!!! If love were chocolate, would it be rich? If kisses were raindrops, would there be many? or how about...If the sun were cold, would it still be yellow? And finally...If you feet are smelling and your nose is running, are you upside down? Curious...LOL
On another note..a few years back, I saw a woman wearing a sweatshirt that said "Guess" on it...I said, uuuuummm....I dont know, implants?...LOL..you had to be there..I Guess..LOL..
I went to the bookstore the other day and asked the sales clerk where I could find the self help section...she said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose...LOL..I laughed!...nonetheless...I did peruse the joint until I came across a jewel of a read... therefore, the latest and greatest recommendation for leisure reading is by an author aptly named Nick (as in 'of time') Bantock...he is terribly gifted with the pen (or nowadays the keyboard)...you can peruse him at amazon.com as well as other places I'm sure..but the trilogy(that’s right three) of his best offerings can be purchased in a bundled set for under forty bucks...such a deal...the main book is titled "Griffin and Sabine"...its very well written and is quite frankly very addicting, so you will want to buy the boxed set (also includes "Sabine's Notebook" and "The Golden Mean")...and I believe there is another addition written many moons later by the same charming and wonderful author and should prove to be a delightful addition to the repertoire...also matching postcards and stationery if you are into that sort of thing. You may have read Nick Bantock previously in "The Venetians Wife”. It was wildly popular upon its release. A strangely sensual tale of a Renaissance explorer, a computer and a metamorphosis which kind of sounds like modern day courtship doesnt it? LOL I have to go but I leave you with one final query...If you try to fail and succeed..which one have you done? hhhmmmm thinking, thinking...
Until later...¬¬¬¬¬¬¬ Somewhere there's someone who dreams of your smile, and finds in your presence that life is worthwhile, so when you are lonely, remember this is true: Somebody, somewhere is thinking of you.
